Known for the batting-friendly pitch, the stadium was able to live up to the reputation. It delivered a high-scoring encounter, which left the fans on the edge of their seats. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Their Batting Onslaught

Winning the toss, RR opted to bowl first. It was a decision that backfired in front of the explosive batting lineup of SRH. The team took better advantage of the flat track. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head opened the innings with the boundaries flurry. They set the tone for the mammoth total. Particularly, Head was in scintillating form. He smashed a 21-ball half-century and then finished with 67 runs off 31 deliveries. The innings included the monstrous 105-meter six off Jofra Archer. It left the crowd in complete awe.

Ishan Kishan made his SRH debut, and he stole the show with a breathtaking century in 45 balls. The knock was laced with the 7 sixes and 10 fours as he tore apart the bowling attack of RR. Rajasthan Royals Made a Valiant Chase

Chasing 287, Rajasthan Royals needed a strong start, and Sanju Samson was able to deliver it. The stand-in captain game was an impact sub. He scored 50 runs in 26 balls and ensured that the hopes of RR were kept alive. Dhruv Jurel even impressed the fans with the fiery 50. However, required run rate, it just kept climbing.
