Emily in Paris is the journey of an ambitious American girl ‘Emily Cooper’. But that’s what the world sees. From the eyes of a girl, from eyes that speaks feminism, and carries a liberalist view, Emily in Paris, is a story of

A Girl Audacious enough to go after her dreams, and make it happen?

From relocation to Paris as a Marketing Executive to fulfilling more than just her initial goal of promotion, Emily did all that people can just dream of. She made it happen. She made it all by herself. Her life is a testament to freedom, and that when you love what you do, you always find ways to succeed at it. Be it a life decision or a job opportunity.

Emily came to Paris with a primary goal, which initially was to secure the promotion, make a name in French Marketing and then move back to Chicago, to marry her long-time boyfriend. But does life work, the way we plan? Never and neither did it in the case of Emily.

What was meant to be a short stay, turned into an immersive experience and Emily just embraced what she started to be. She navigated the challenges. She fell in love. She worked her heart out and made friendships, openly. Throughout, Emily and her naïve character showed enthusiasm and started to accept what came in her way. Probably this is why, by the end of the season 1 or better to say, season 2 and 3, we as an audience were made to question,

Was Emily In Paris, or was Paris already in Emily?

Was Emily In Paris, or was Paris already in Emily?

Well, whatever it was, despite having a limited knowledge of French culture and language, Emily created a name for herself. She won hearts with her humor, presence and charm. She continued to strive for achieving professional ambitions, leaving behind her old self, relationships and romance. Truth be told, she seemed to achieve and adapt to her newer surroundings. While she pursued her dreams, in a much better way than one could have imagined.

In between all, as an audience, one would experience varied phases of Emily too.

  • The Making Plans phase.
  • The Plans of Moving on and on and on phase.
  • The phase of Accepting a troublesome love triangle with the men she loved— Gabriel.
  • The phase of bangs— might be not her best look, but she did flaunt it with style.

And whatnot? I mean, what we have not seen anywhere else, we can find in Here.

Best of all, even if we at a time, start to hate her dramatic life. We actually crave to watch more. But wait, that was all about the previous seasons, and if you think. You can have something different in the new Season 4, after a French and a British delight, well, you are in for a treat.

Emily In Paris Season 4 Review

Coming to the end of season 4, I sit here writing what I actually feel about my experience and specifically about this new season. Well, first of all, of course, I crave for more, and it’s all because of the drama and the sexy men.

While this season had its charm, there were some shortcomings. However, I believe, by the end of the season, all that complaint would be settled.

While the new season continued to deliver the signature clichés, wrapped in the romantic and escapist fantasy, the first few episodes did take my attention away to some other new releases. Yes, I would say, to find the real deal, you will have to bear through some episodes which are devoid of the excitement.

The show takes a slow turn but it does regain some original appeal by the mid of the season. It is where I finally got my eyes on the screen stuck.

In the new episodes, there came new love interests, challenges and new settings. The show even took a little trip to Rome and gave the storyline a chance to show how Emily has grown through time, navigating her life, while still maintaining ties with the past.

In terms of character development, relationships have evolved in the new season. Even Emily’s friendship got deep, leading to some stability amidst all the chaos which surrounds the life of Emily. Definitely, the romantic tension in it all cannot be ignored between Emily and Gabriel but the off and on-dynamics. Got to the destination, it deserved.

Some might say, there were plot issues in the series. I do agree with it but when the plotline started to get stable, it did bring out the real deal. To say, not all episodes are the same, so why should we expect everything to be the same? There will be some things unresolved but the way Emily and her career grows, it brings depth and a learning for the people who watch the series.

If we talk overall, Season 4 of Emily in Paris is full of highs and lows and as we do not wish to reveal the real deal here. We would simply say— between balancing the humor, fashion, and storytelling, the guilty pleasure remained. Also, by the end of the last episode, as a viewer. All you will wish for is more, but wait, will it be from Paris, Chicago or Rome? Watch out to find on your own.

We would come back with more of such reviews that are simple to understand and easy to take a lesson from. Currently, we would just recommend you to watch Emily In Paris Season 4, without any further ado.
